Located in Barcelona, Spain – Via Augusta House – has more than 120 m2 and Meritxell Ribé The Room Studio had done a total reform of interior design and decoration. Maintaining order and amplifying luminosity were one of the main given objectives. Also areas with different functions yet in perfect harmony throughout the house. Owners wished for the project to allow future improvements, therefore it was decided to use neutral finishes and refined lines where natural woods and design details were present. The living room had updated furniture and wild linens resulting in a balanced and spacious area. The kitchen is openly connected to the living room. Reading corner is designed with two seats and a big rug border-lining the invisible area. Next to it, there’s an area focused on watching television equipped with big sofa and poufs for friends to enjoy. Last but the most important thing was to create 2 children’s bedrooms since kids were sharing one single room before. The bed and the desk were made from the same materials used in the rest of the house and the wallpaper was chosen to make the rooms look fun and youthful.
