House fire survivor, orange tabby cat Russell is a superhero with a caring heart. Russell miraculously recovered year ago but he was not done with Animal Emergency Hospital and Urgent Care facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. In a way, Russell shows his gratitude by being an extra staff member at the animal hospital. He’s always there and happy to help other animals in need after their operation. No animals are left alone to recover because Russell is always there giving them comfort and hope by standing by their side and hugging them while they rest. Megan Maus, a vet tech shares: “ He wants to be friends with every animal. He’s a very inquisitive cat. A very loving little cat. It’s utterly clear that he does something very special for everyone who gets to know him. He helps give them some hope, him being such a little cat of perseverance.
