Meet Yoda extremely rare cat born with real 4 ears! Rejected by everyone for his appearance, he was the last to be picked from a litter of kittens. Luckily he was adopted by 65-year-old Valerie and her husband Ted Rock. “We were at a pub on the south side of Chicago with a group of friends when we noticed a small cage sitting on the bar and people passing around a kitten,” said Valerie, who just lost her 20-year-old cat. The elderly couple thought they’ll never have another cat again until Ted picked up little Yoda. “The kitten crawled up into the crook of his neck and fell asleep – Ted was a goner. It was a done deal when the kitten made himself at home on Ted’s shoulder.” Yoda was taken to the vet and the vet had never seen anything like it before. “He immediately went to the internet and found the four-eared cat in Germany. We have spoken with other vets in our acquaintance, and they likewise had never encountered anything like this. We began to realize that we had something very special.” His ears are separated from the base of this skull, nothing is hurting Yoda and his hearing seems to be perfectly normal. Owners were concerned Yoda would be ‘catnapped’ so he’s become an indoor cat. Curious, lovable, and obsessed with bread, Yoda is now a full member of this happy family. He purrs without a sound, with only vibrations through his throat, and meows only softly. Can you even believe that no one wanted him in the first place?!
