Alex Chinneck’s Unique Mind-Bending Sculptures and Buildings

Alex Chinneck, a sculptor from Great Britain, turned regular looking buildings into works of art. His work animates the surrounding urban landscape in an ingenious combination of engineering, architecture, and art. A melting house, a mansion that seemingly levitates and a building that is ripping into two are just some of the brilliant creations by Alex a deserving member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors. By weaving fantasy into familiarity Alex tries to challenge the perceptions of possibility, not letting physics halt imagination. His work has brought new extraordinary life into the everyday world and it has been covered extensively by international media with some of the projects welcoming over a million visitors. Below you will find pictures of his more well-known outdoor works, however he has worked on smaller interior sculptures and if you’re interested visit his website and Instagram for more information. Enjoy!
