Ballpoint Pen Artist, Mostafa Khodeir’s Hyperrealism Masterclass

Ballpoint pen artist, born in Port Said, and currently living in Cairo, Egypt, the incredible Mostafa Khodeir is one of the greatest artists alive wielding only a ballpoint pen to create hyperrealistic art. He has perfected his skills to the point that his illustrations are the pinnacle of hyperrealism, especially when considering the tools his using. The results are honestly hard to believe, and thanks to the time-lapse videos you can be assured that Khodeir’s skills are very much real. Such videos can be found on Khodeir’s Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube channel, where you can learn a lot from the master artist himself. The beginning of his popularity was in 2018 when 28-year-old Mostafa made his hyperrealistic drawing of a young boy. Such art took over 2 months to be finished but it was all worth it in the end, of course. His Twitter suddenly blew up with more than 200k likes and his career started skyrocketing. Besides mind-blowing portraits, the artist also draws animals and uses multicolored ballpoint pens which only make his drawings that much more realistic and photo-like. Truly stunning and utterly inspiring, proving how far a human skill can reach.
