“Borderless” Skyscape apartment by WARchitect – Bangkok

“Borderless” Skyscape apartment by WARchitect from Thailand lies on top of the five-story building in Bangkok. An unusual location and unused space that was previously just a space for water tanks is now a leading example of new urban living. “We wanted it to be just a borderless box that emerges out of nowhere in the sky as if the thickness of the wall and roof were non-existent, but still able to make holes in the ceiling to install curtains, air conditioners, and embed lights. Our intention was to give an illusion to onlookers that the entire ceiling was in the same straight line.” The dining room, living room, bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom all connect to the outdoor environment. All the rooms rotate around a central courtyard that is visible from all angles, which provides nice greenery in the high skies. Light and airy interior is kept with minimal furnishings and maximized space, with a large floor-to-ceiling panorama glass doors.
