Gorgeous All-by-Hand Ceramic Bowls with Animals on Top by Hella Jongerius

Crafted by hand, designed and painted by magnificent Hella Jongerius. Artist made these beautiful art pieces for a commission by Nymphenburg, porcelain manufacturer from Bavaria, a company working since the mid-18th century. In this series, animals are the most important as it was all a beautiful celebration of the animal collection already found in their old archives. They are all made by hand and they are hand-painted with floral decorative patterns from original Nymphenburg’s cups and saucers. Dimensions vary from 17 to 35 cm in diameter. Today you can find these beauties in Stedelijk Museum ‘s Hertogenbosch, Zuiderzee Museum, Enkhuizen, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, FNAC Puteaux, Nationalmuseum Stockholm, and High Museum of Art Atlanta.
