Coffee Monsters – Curious Doodle At Its Finest by Stefan Kuhnigk

Art is endless. German illustrator Stefan Kuhnigk is living proof of that. This unique story started back in 2011. Stefan was at a meeting at the ad agency where he worked, and that was the time and place where the first coffee monster was born. Artist spilled his coffee on paper and instead of throwing it in the trash he started ‘curious’ doodling over the brown smudge. From that day on, almost every day a new coffee monster is born. Today Stefan has an impressive collection of over 500 adorable/mischievous characters. “I really enjoy every single one because I love creation and the determination and coincidence of the coffee hitting paper,” Stefan shares. “I try to see a monster, character, or figure in it and when I find something, I draw it.” Check out artist’s Instagram called ‘thecoffeemonsters‘ and visit Society6 and shop your favorite drawings as prints, or on t-shirts and other goodies.
