California’s Wine Country Covered in Riot of Colors by Bruce Munro and His “Field of Light” Installation

British artist Bruce Munro has flooded landscapes with light and color all around the globe with his imaginative Field of Light installations. For over 15 years, Munro used countless amounts of glowing orbs in different colors to accentuate each place and its surroundings. When he turns all these orbs on, it creates a wondrous work of art. His latest project Field of Light at Sensorio truly shows his artistic skills at length. Field of Light at Sensorio is set in Paso Robles, a quaint city in California’s Wine Country and it is his largest installation to date, encompassing over 15 acres. To highlight the curves and contours of Paso Robles’s landscape, Munro used approximately sixty thousand solar-powered LED lights. The lights shine and shimmer in a myriad of colors, and breathe new life into the usually quiet hillside.
