Gorgeous African American Disney Princesses Bringing Fairytales to Life

“The Disney character series was created by hairstylist LaChanda Gatson and child photographers CreativeSoul Photography,” Regis and Kahran, the duo behind the wheel of CreativeSoul Photography shared. LaChanda Gatson is a published artist specializing in hair and makeup for photo, film, theater, weddings, and events who recently won an international hair award as Bangstyle’s Supreme Hairstylist, as well as Most Creative Stylist of Orange County Fashion Week. CreativeSoul’s collaboration with LaChanda Gatson brought us these beautiful shots of African American Disney Princesses. “We’re more than just photographers. We are artists and trusted business partners obsessed with unique, visual storytelling and capturing unconventional beauty.” A series of 14 in total photos showcases elegant, brave princesses and “their own dash of style, culture, and swag.” Their amazing work was rewarded very soon with almost 100,000 reshares of appreciations from people who admired the series. “The goal is to inspire more girls around the world to start seeing themselves as regal princesses.” You can buy these prints for the price of $40 on Myshopify.
