“Lamborghini India’s” Art Project Connects Futuristic Car with Tribal Culture

Arts and cars go well together and if you add some tribe culture of India you’ll have a quite peculiar project on your hands, especially if the car is Lamborghini. Visual artist/photographer/director, Vimal Chandran is a self-taught artist bursting with inspiration and creativity. He loves mixing urban art and photography, as well as interesting installations, illustrations, and graphic design. Chandran was hired by Lamborghini India to extend their “With Italy, For Italy” photography/art project over to APAC region. They’ve asked Chandran to represent the Indian region and he cleverly came up with an idea… “Creating a meeting place for the past and the future. The idea was to portray the car as a futuristic object, trying to interact with the mystic atmosphere of the village which runs on a different time. We have tried to achieve this by introducing this splendid vehicle – Huracán EVO to the culture, folklore, art, and childhood memories of my native place in Palakkad- Kerala.”
