New York City’s Hudson Yards is the largest private real estate development in the history of the US. The newest focal point of Hudson Yards has risen upon Public Square and Gardens as an epic landmark that will be remembered for a long time. The seemingly endless spiral stairs are connected with 154 flights of stairs, reaching almost 2,500 steps in total and 80 landings. Crossing this giant means walking a mile of vertical climb. Project is a vision by Thomas Heatherwick and Heatherwick Studio, with an idea to have people spread all around on different levels enjoying the city in its full beauty from many different angles and heights. New perspectives are being shed and the world is watching.
