Time Magazine’s project “Firsts” is cleverly named for chronicles of trailblazing women, showcasing those who “broke the glass ceiling,” in their amazing milestone accomplishments. Luisa Dorr’s another phenomenal woman and the main pin in this project as she’s the photographer behind these iPhone Portraits and interviews that follow. Reason for the simple straightforward portraits is an indeed a powerful message that shines through the rough edges of iPhone camera. There is no flashy Photoshop magic behind these photos because there is more than enough of loud screaming awe-inspiring applause-deserving noise these fascinating women’s simplest portraits speak of. It is their work, their dedication, their success and immortality they’ve earned for themselves as they become role models for the future greats.
