Stunning 3-Story Home Built Into the Cliffside Slope on Serifos Island, Greece

A stunning idea is now a real-life house located on the isolated rocky bay of Serifos Island, Greece. Thanks to the brilliant Mold Architects, this fascinating 340 square meters (3,660 sq ft) beauty is adorning Serifos Island. “NCaved” was built into a cliffside slope in 2020, to answer the strong north winds in the open field. The sheltered home has 3 levels. The main entrance is on the second floor where the living areas are. From there you can go downstairs from the inside to the first floor while looking at the sweet sea view. The entire first floor contains only bedrooms. If you want to get to the last floor you need to go from the outside the house, via stairs that also lead to other levels. The front of the house is always open to the east view, while the back of the house contains beautiful gardens illuminated by natural light.

“In contrast to the sturdy stone walls, the transverse facades are light, made of glass, and can open along their entire length.”
