The World Will Never Know DNA of Mork the Dog Rescued from Chinese Slaughterhouse

150k followers on Instagram, Mork is a baby Yoda clone with the story to remember. Chinese meat trading truck was carrying Mork and few other dogs, taking them to the slaughterhouse. Disgusting and vicious. Luckily they were rescued by Harbin SHS organization, and brought to the USA by Road Dogs & Rescue; Soon after, the founder Nikki Carvey had adopted Mork. “Sadly, some people still think it is cool to eat dogs there, and many unwanted dogs are sold to the meat trade,” Carvey speaks about the ongoing situation. Poor Mork was barely 12.4 lbs when he arrived from China. He suffered Irritable Bowel Disorder (IBD) and had congenital issues due to bad breeding. He had heart problems, breathing problems and jaw malformation. “He is sweet and friendly but still learning about love. His favorite thing is to just sit in the sunshine,” Carvey says about her new best friend. Refusing to run a DNA test, Carvey believes people would find out and try to breed a dog to make a baby Yoda lookalike which is horrible because they would disregard all the health issues poor dog would have. Rasing the meat trade and adoption awareness, Monk is a living proof that the most incredible dogs can be found in shelters and rescues. As for Mork, the future is clear: ”His mission is to share love and wonder!”
